Our Giving

We believe real change happens when sustainability and equity go hand in hand. Through our Impact Grants, Staff Giving, Regional Giving, and In-Kind Donations, we support bold solutions that reduce inequality and protect the planet. Whether it’s funding grassroots efforts, empowering our team to give, supporting local communities, or donating products where they’re needed most—our giving is all about creating lasting impact.

In-Kind Donations

World Centric is proud to have supported more than 216 events and programs with in-kind product donations, helping organizations make a positive impact while reducing waste. We partner with PreK-12 schools, community groups, and nonprofits dedicated to social justice, environmental sustainability, and human rights. By providing compostable food service products, we enable these organizations to host events responsibly, ensuring that their efforts align with a healthier planet and a more just world.

Highlights

Here’s a highlight of two organizations and events that we supported this year:

Street Vendor Project (NY)

Street Vendor Project (New York) ImageStreet Vendor Project (SVP) is a membership-based organization of over 3,000 entrepreneurs. Through direct legal representation, small business training, organizing support, and strategic legislative advocacy, SVP builds power and community among vendors.

Event: We donated products for SVP’s annual Scavenger Hunt, where participants explored NYC street food while completing challenges. With 41 teams and 283 donors, SVP raised $17,573 for a language justice fund. World Centric also supported SVP through Regional Giving.

Chesapeake Bay Foundation (MD)

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation fights for effective, science-based solutions to the pollution degrading the Chesapeake Bay and its rivers and streams. They advocate for pollution reduction throughout the Chesapeake’s six-state, 64,000-square-mile watershed, which is home to more than 18 million people and 3,000 species of plants and animals.

Event: World Centric donated products for Bands in the Sand, featuring Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reef Band, raising nearly $500K in one night to save Chesapeake Bay.
